It is believed the Beetle spent many years in Southern California residency before relocating to the East Coast and ultimately Texas. The Convertible would best be described a driver cosmetically with a solid body and chassis and supported by much recent mechanical work. The exterior's paintwork is older but glossy, in correct color, as is the kempt basket-weave vinyl upholstery. Current mileage reads 28,245, although the electric odometer and speedometer are not functioning. A matching vinyl top boot neatly stows the convertible top, while an uninstalled new convertible top accompanies to replace the current aged top.
