Several improvements were introduced with the 911 F-series. New for the 2.4's was a small under-bumper "chin" spoiler, aiding high-speed stability, the engine capacity was enlarged to 2341cc by using a longer stroke and with the power and torque increases, the cars also received a stronger 5-speed H transmission producing one of the most desirable 'classical' 911's to date.

One of the finest Examples Currently Available - 1973 1/2 Only produced for 6 months, they are considered the most superior 911T ever produced with a galvanized body and CIS 2.4L engine.

9113112016 presents a rare opportunity for the 911 enthusiast to experience what it was like to own a brand new 1973 Porsche in 2016. Prior to its current state, this lifelong California car provided the perfect "driver" foundation for what is certainly one of the most comprehensive restorations of any 1973.5 911T, with all steps meticulously photographed throughout the process. According to Porsche's COA, the Targa was originally delivered from the factory wearing Sepia Brown (54) paint over Beige/Tan Leatherette (31) upholstery, with U.S. equipment, forged alloy wheels, F/R stabilizer bars, chrome fender strips, comfort equipment and tinted glass all around. Still wearing those options today, the car retains its original numbers-matching CIS 2.4L engine, paired to a 5-speed transmission and factory accessories. Additionally this car has a great recorded service history from extensive Vasek Polak receipts on file.

Its comes complete with original Owner's Manual and Warranty Booklet in pouch, tool kit, jack and spare, servicing receipts from 1973-1999, vintage log book, over 175 restoration photographs and its corresponding Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche. The cost and time involved in finding a well-documented, solid original example and restoring it to this caliber would likely far exceed this car's asking price. With a Best in Class win at the 2015 San Marino Motor Classic, it remains in outstanding fresh condition. A true benchmark of quality, as this final-year of the classic 911 is ideally suited for the Porsche enthusiast in search of what must surely be the finest example in this specification presently available.
