1963 Porsche 356B T6 "Super" Coupe
Body by Karmann
Chassis No. 212425
Engine No. 703205
Presentable Coupe in Elegant Original Colors
Excellent Entry into 356 Ownership
Beautiful T6 Porsche 356 Ideal to use as a Driver, Update, Outlaw, or Event Car
With Owner's Manual, Keys, Jack & Spare Assembly
Verified by Porsche Kardex & Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
212425 was completed on February 28, 1963 and delivered to Emmanuel Beck of Silver Spring, Maryland on April 20, 1963 in Ivory paint (6204) over Red Leatherette upholstery on Conti tires – through Hoffman Motor Company, New York.
Offered here a wonderful example for those considering a presentable "driver's" 356B, ready for classic enjoyment in appealing original livery and appointments. The Porsche's cosmetics have matured from a decade's old refurbishment; paired well to proper crested hubcaps on chrome 4.5" vented steel wheels. Its cabin features correct rubber mats, Becker Europa radio with chrome speaker grills and German square weave carpeting. While the front luggage compartment is sorted with luggage liner, matching spare and jack assembly. The front bonnet hinge is stamped #25 which corresponds to the chassis number while the rear decklid is stamped #409 and was likely replaced with a correct T6 unit. The floors have been replaced long ago and there is evidence of minor corrosion and previous repairs.
All-around performance is excellent, providing a solid torque band combined well with the suspension and a smooth shifting transaxle. The engine bay reveals a tidy, solid and correct type 1600 Super powerplant and correct date (1963 model year). We've been told the motor was rebuilt to stock specifications roughly 1,500 miles ago using Mahle pistons, correct super heads and rocker gear. Within the last 5 years, the Porsche's braking system was also rebuilt with a dual master cylinder, new lines, wheel cylinders and brakes. While the front end received new king and link pins with alignment. All well-suit the car as a fun runabout or weekend rally star.
An excellent entry into 356 ownership, these Porsches have long been known to provide years of reliable motoring, and this sensibly priced example is just the candidate for continued enjoyment. A copy of the vehicle's Kardex accompanies the sale, along with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, Owner's manual, PCA Troubleshooting Guide and spare keys. Now available for worldwide purchase and delivery from our Houston, Texas showroom, be sure to ask about collector car financing and transportation logistics through our trusted partners.
